Mr Neil A MacLachlan
Mr Neil MacLachlan has worked for over 20 years with a number of UK and International IVF units acting as a satellite service. As a keen infertility trainer, and Member of the British Fertility Society and the European Society of Human Reproduction, he enjoys being involved in the holistic care of infertility, and has considerable experience in both the medical and surgical management of problems relating to infertility.
He performs laparoscopic laser treatment of endometriosis and ovarian cysts and can perform advanced therapeutic hysteroscopic surgery. He has created the Jersey Assisted Reproduction and Gynaecology Service which provides many treatments for fertility patients, including monitored ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination and donor insemination. He has a keen interest in early pregnancy failure and has worked previously in the UK in a major recurrent miscarriage unit. Having trained at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital for Women, he has considerable experience in caring for high risk pregnancies and therefore enjoys looking after women who have conceived following treatment for infertility or who have had complicated pregnancies before.
Services at the centre
With his formal link with the easily accessible London-based Lister Fertility Clinic, he and his team can now provide a top quality service whereby the women need only travel for egg collection and embryo transfer. All preparation, monitoring and follow up is carried out by, or under Mr MacLachlan’s supervision.
