Support is available for all patients and donors attending the Lister Fertility Clinic before, during and following treatment via our ‘Open Door’ counselling policy.
We have a team of three counsellors with appointments available Monday- Friday; you are welcome to book a free of charge counselling appointment via our medical secretaries by calling 020 7730 5932 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are in crisis or concerned about another person in addition to letting the clinic know please do alert their GP and access support via the Samaritans call 116 123, there is useful Crisis support available via Mind. Your local council website will include a Safeguarding Hub and information relating to how to share concerns around vulnerable adults or child protection issues.
Having support from others who understand can help to alleviate feelings of isolation that are common for anyone experiencing infertility or having assistance to try to conceive. There are many charities that support people by providing relevant up to date information, by providing opportunities to meet in person or virtually via forums.
The Lister Fertility Clinic is proud to be a Gold Partner of Fertility Network UK, the national charity supporting people exploring or concerned about their fertility:
